Writing Sharks

Our community project aims to teach individuals about sharks and ocean conservation, and how to access the tranquility that comes with the oceanic territory. Through creative writing programs, we plan to show that we’re all connected, and that sharks and the ocean can help bring inner peace.

Our creative writing campaigns aims to:

• Teach underprivileged/underrepresented communities about sharks and shark conservation

• Raise awareness on how sharks and the ocean can help provide inner peace and calm

• Inspire those who otherwise wouldn’t have access to the ocean and diving activities to seek them out

We’re currently looking to hire Creative Writing Teachers

Raise Awareness

Through the use of short videos, and photos, we aim to show the issues that sharks are currently facing. We bring to light shark finning, overfishing, effects on specific populations, and use writing as an educational tool.

• rehabilitation facilities

• domestic violence shelters

• foster care centers

Ecology & Biology

Using carefully chosen diagrams, photos, and prompts, we aim to educate on basic shark biology, ecology, and physiology through creative writing prompts, and show how we’re all connected in our daily lives.

Inspire action

The main goal of this campaign is to inspire people who normally wouldn't have access to the ocean and sharks to get more involved and help Save The Sharks through developing a connection to sharks with their writing.
