Q. how can I get involved with save the sharks?

A. We have an array of options and levels for individuals who are looking to do more. Our best suggestions is to spread the word about shark conservation, and the best tool we have is for people to use our “report an entity” link on our site. This is the most direct way one can help save sharks with us. If you have any ideas on other type of volunteer projects, shoot us an email.

Q. what merchandise do you guys offer?

A. We have a page in our site, “shop,” where you can browse through designs and purchase what you like. Please note that 100% of your purchase goes right back into our conservation projects. We are constantly updating the shop, so feel free to check it out often.

Q. what does save the sharks do?

A. We have three core beliefs; to provide general education, to conduct individual dive surveys, and to get shark products off of store shelves and restaurant menus. We do all of these through a variety of ways: we have a lot of social media content where we highlight sharks facts, science, news. We also have a partner on Mexico where we conduct independent research, and we have an internal database that is constantly being updated with restaurants or stores that sell shark products. We also love to collaborate with other orgs to come up with cool and interesting projects.

Q. do you do any in person presentations?

A. Yes! We can come to you and rock it out with some pretty fun shark info and Save The Sharks projects. We also host Skype and Zoom meetings on the regular. If you’re interested, please contact us through our “volunteer” page and we can set something up.
